Kaline Coutinho

Kaline Coutinho is currently a professor, researcher and advisor at undergraduate and graduate levels, leader of a research group and project coordinator in the Institute of Physics at USP. She holds a Bachelor degree in Physics from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1985-1988), Master in Physics from the DF/UFPE (1989-1991), Doctorate in Physics from the Universidade de São Paulo (1993-1997), professor at the University of Mogi da Cruzes (1997-2004), professor at the Institute of Physics at USP (2004-current), Associate Professor at IF/USP (2012), Full Professor at IF/USP (2019). Director of the Institute of Physics at USP (Ago/2023-present). Adjunct coordinator of Physics and Astronomy area at CAPES (Quadrennial 2021-2024). Member of the Advisory Committee for the area of Physics and Astronomy (CA-FA) of CNPq (2020-2023, vice-coordinator). Member of CAPES Quadrennial Evaluation Committee 2021. Head of the Department of General Physics at IF/USP (2018-2022). Coordinator of the Computational Center at Institute of Physics at USP (2020-2023). Director of the Physics Institute at USP (2023-2026).
