Amâncio Jorge Silva Nunes de Oliveira

Prof. Amâncio Oliveira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from University of São Paulo (1993) and a Ph.D in Political Sciences also from USP (2003), with emphasis on the Brazilian private sector participation at FTAA negotiations. He is currently Professor of the Political Sciences Department at FFLCH-USP, acting on the International Relations Course as well as on Political Sciences Post-Graduation Program, both at USP.He is a CNPq-level 2 researcher, scientific coordinator of the Center for the Study of International Negotiations (Caeni-IRI), representative of the Professors at the University Council. He is also the Coordinator of the São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Science Diplomacy and Innovation Diplomacy (InnSciD SP). Professor Amâncio was Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholar’s Public Policy Scholar (Washington, 2001-2002) and is graduated from Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies (Washington, 2002).
